A showing of a film by filmmaker Marquette Williams documenting the 1960s fight to desegregate Cleveland’s schools, featuring scenes from the stage play “A Death in the City” by Faye Sholiton.

A Teen Rally designed for Cleveland scholars in grades 8–12. Together, we’ll explore the fight for educational equity, celebrate the leaders who paved the way for justice, and ask what it means for today’s generation to carry the torch forward. Expect music, energy, and inspiration as students from across the city come together on coordinated school field trips.

This youth-focused event is by invitation only, with area schools invited to attend through scheduled field trips during school hours.
